Daniel F. Birch, an alumnus of Syracuse University, has been an illustrator and designer in the NYC area for 12 years. For the past several years, he has been specializing in the local area craft beer industry and has produced widely-recognized and well-regarded posters, logos and collateral material for famous saloons including 4th Avenue Pub, The Jeffrey and Proletariat. Dan also has created the visual styles for several New York area brands such as Barrier Brewing Co., Hell's Kitchen Hot Sauce and Marcelli Formaggi.
Dan's style is diverse in both design and illustration although both tend to incorporate hand-drawn elements a la Saul Bass. Working without self-promotion or an agency, his business has grown strongly through word-of-mouth recommendations and references from clients who have been very pleased with his work ethic, his diligence and his creative output.
